Pricing
Simple pricing, paid once.
Filtering subscriptions charge every month, forever, and still cannot touch your own discs and files. ClearPlay runs $79.99 a year and VidAngel $9.99 a month. SubHush costs less than one year of either, once, and then never bills you again.
Where things stand today: the SubHush store is being finished. Until it opens, Android is sold through Pontos Brands, and the Windows and Linux lists on this page hold your founding price. We do not take pre-orders for the desktop editions, and we publish no release dates for them.

The license, in plain words
Bought like software used to be bought.
One household
A single-edition license covers up to three devices you own, in one home. The household bundle covers up to five devices per edition. No per-seat math for a family product.
No account, no phone home
Your license arrives as a key by email and is validated on the device itself. SubHush is an offline product, so the license behaves like one: nothing needs to check in for your movies to keep playing.
Updates
Every purchase includes all updates within its major version: new word packs, format support, and fixes. A future major version is offered to existing owners at half price, and the version you already own keeps working permanently. An update will never strand a paid user.
Refunds
Thirty days, a full refund, no questions and nothing to return. If SubHush is not right for your home, the money comes back through the same rail it arrived on.
Prices in US dollars. Word packs are part of the product, never sold separately. Android is a live product today; Windows and Linux are in development, and the prices shown for them are the planned launch prices.
Pricing questions
Before you ask.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once per edition, or once for the household bundle, and that is the end of the billing. There is no monthly fee because there is nothing monthly about an offline player.
When do the Windows and Linux editions ship?
They are in development, Windows first and Linux on the same codebase right behind it. We publish no dates until a build has passed the same testing bar as the Android releases. The notify lists get honest build notes as they become true, with screenshots from real builds only.
Why is there no free trial?
The thirty-day full refund serves the same purpose with less machinery: use the real product, and if it is not right, the money comes back. A trial may be added later if buyers ask for one.
What does SubHush not do?
It filters language only, using the subtitles that come with your files. It does not filter streaming services, live TV, images, or scenes. If a file has no subtitles, it cannot be filtered, and SubHush tells you so before you press play. The full list of straight answers is in the FAQ on the home page.
